Community Engagement Strategies to Advance SDG Impact

The project aims to provide open-source guidelines that help local institutions, businesses, and organizations contribute to the Canada 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

To enhance our actions and make them more effective and equitable, we conduct research activities and coordinate a Working Group comprising representatives from local authorities, educational institutions, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and equity-deserving groups.

The June 26 workshop aims to disseminate the preliminary results of our research activities and gather insights and priorities from community organizations like yours, which will inform the next project’s activities.

We invite representatives from other community organizations, institutions, businesses, and equity-deserving groups, to participate in this event and share their experiences and expertise.

Your presence would greatly benefit the table discussions we will have and help us identify priorities that truly matter for our community. I hope you or some representatives from your organization will be able to participate. The only cost is the parking here at Fanshawe and, of course, three hours of your time.

To register, you will see a link in the attached flyer, which is also here for your convenience: https://www.tickettailor.com/events/fanshawecollege/1705536
