Horticultural technicians may grow and sell crops and related materials in nurseries and greenhouses. They also landscape, operate greenhouses, nurseries, and garden centres, and move trees. Their knowledge includes irrigation methods and soil and pest management. Sometimes technicians use dangerous equipment, such as chainsaws or chippers.
